WhoUp was built at the 2024 Edge City Lanna Hackathon to replace habitual phone checking with reflection and conversation. People can broadcast that they are free to talk instead of disappearing into a feed.

Mindfulness prompts and the Great Monolith turn idle moments into small prophecies. Moments of connection are represented as alien plants in a personal zen garden and stored onchain.
